Located in Wester Ross in the North West Highlands, Glenmoriston Deer Management Group consists of a string of eleven estates from Coire Lair in the west to Balmacaan in the East. With active engagement between all neighbouring DMGs in the area including, this ensures a landscape collaborative approach to deer management.
The Glen Strathfarrar DMG formerly comprised a sub-group of the larger, South Ross DMG, becoming a Deer Management Group in its own right in 2012 following the division of the South Ross area into smaller, more manageable units. The five DMGs in the South Ross Deer Management Area continue to liaise together. A map of the DMG area is available here.
